Was it you who ripped the drain pipe from one of their stands and threw it into the crowd?

Decent envelope with card strengthener - £0.50
Minimum cost of first class stamp for a 'large letter' - £0.52
Allowance for taking the thing to the post office - £0.40

Oh yes - he appears to be overcharging by about 8p. The rotten swine must be well on his way to making his first million with postage charges like this!

Boc, he's from Yorkshire as you can see. They are as tight as a cows arse in a frost up there.

correct

Yes we are tight up here, much prefer the 20 for a £1 ones from poundland !!

If the eBay seller used those, the item would hardly be likely to be delivered undamaged. Then you *would* have a reason to complain. Happily most eBay sellers are more sensible than that and want to get the goods to buyers in the best condition possible.

The reason ebay is earning this reputation for delivery charges is because of sellers selling bulk little items, flash memory, usb sticks etc as they have a tendency to put a "buy now" price of say £1 and then add a £19 delivery charge, this way they don't have to worry about paying for a reserve price and can guarantee the same price for the item. I'm also not sure if they pay the % cost on just the item or the item+delivery when they pay their ebay bill.
