UEFA are self-serving tossers along with FIFA. Football is a business now and as such Clubs should be free to pursue whatever legal avenues they like and may be legally required to.

Clubs that take part in a competition should abide by that competitions rules, and it should be the governing body that decides what those rules are.
If clubs or players end up going to the courts every time they disagree with something the game would become a farce.
