Surely he should know more about these players, have an in depth knowledge etc. Suggesting he did no wrong is like saying MK might as well have assembled the squad for the season.
You dont need to be a genius to work out that a collection of 30+ yeard olds wernt going to have to desire for the fight. Micky Adams made the decisions and was man enough to stand down when he realised he had done wrong - end of story IMO.
OK, this will be my LAST word on this subject of Micky Adams, he is in the passed and the future is what matters now, Micky assembled what he thought was a very decent squad, no one would deliberately buy bad players ! certain pundits DO know there stuff as do other managers, the bookies are also "careful" with their money, EVERYONE thought we would do the bizz, the managerial change has proved that the players NOT the manager are the cause for our under performing I do not blame Micky for our predicament nor do I blame Craig for failing to turn things around, until these characterless bunch of under achievers are consigned to the bin things will continue to look bleak, AM & MDV MAY help to get things back on track, we can only wait and see, either way I shall be at EVERY game, home and away and will sing myself hoarse, what about you ?????

Craig Levein sacked Harry, and this was the best move ever made.
MA couldn't work with the constraints put on him by the Bassettmeister, who always wanted to get in the cheap OAPs.

Stop blaming Bassett for MA's mistakes!
MA WANTED Bassett at the club - he insisted Bassett was given a new contract.
The players MA signed were his own choice, he didn't have to sign anyone he didn't want.
If he was influenced by Bassett in any way, it was his choice.

It might have been his choice, but Bassett was the one at fault in the selection of cheapo ageing players. And yes, I will continue to blame Harry. He should have known better than to try to be an eminence gris. He ain't got the finesse for grisaille...........
PS Bonjour Cheeky Renard Argent ! Ca va?
