Hardly two points lost when we didn't deserve to win it but certainly a missed opportunity again - especially with Chelsea up next.

I think a boro fan could say the same thing and would be correct. We were not exactly setting the world alight and were there for the taking.

On the balance of things, a point is a fair result.

Boring game, but defended pretty well and kept a clean sheet.

It's an away point. With how we've been doing, I'll take it.

Let's hope Vardy comes back with some form though becasuse I'm worried about goals without Mahrez and Slimani in the side

As I already said we got the 1 point we deserved. It's 2 points lost because Boro are a shit team that will probably be relegated.

I watched the game and it was shit. Two sides obviously happy with a point that does **** all good for either of us as we still have to play decent teams. A good chance to beat a shit side and we served that up as some players were tired. We are the total opposite of last seasons side this season.

Spot on

I'm completely stunned that people are in any way satisfied with that abomination of a performance

Absolute wank

At least we are looking better organised and more committed defensively recently. We were blunt as an attacking force but since Mahrez was the only (potentially) creative player who started, it must have been Ranieri's plan. I did think that introducing Gray and Musa later in the game could be a masterstroke against a tired defence, sadly not.

I wouldn't say I'm satisfied with the result or performance, but we would have lost that a month ago. Slow progress I think.

we do now have the benefit of having nearly 2 weeks to get some players in before the next game. Even longer if we're looking at the next realistic point.

I've still yet to see anything that says that Musa is a premier league player and certainly not £15m worth.

I agree. Just hope that it's taking a while for him to adjust to the premiership. After he scored a couple a few months or so ago I thought he might start showing what he can do. Sadly not.

Took Vardy a while to find his feet. Hopefully Musa is the same.

Musa did actually look to create things when he came on. He doesn't look great but he goes in the right direction unlike most. That run down the left deserved more than what followed when he put the ball across.

Bloody hell homer definitely glass half empty, the positive was mendy had 90 mins under his belt boro are a very well organised team and thankfully they are piss poor going forward.

As soon as we get mendy or Ndidi (hopefully) to partner drinkwater we will be a powerful force going forward.CR will have to keep selecting the same players because of the ACON that will be to our favour

Controversial, but I thought the Ref had a decent game - certainly better than those we have suffered recently. A pity neither side took advantage to play fast attractive flowing football, but may be the tough games for both teams 48 hours earlier took it out of us and them.
BBC sports news called it the worst game of the premier league this season and I can't see SKY rushing to show case again anytime soon.

"worst game"... I don't see that at all. Sure, it wasn't the best - a long way from the best - but not the worst either. Tbh, I rather enjoyed it - in a throwback kind of a way. I think the beeb are indulging in a little hyperbole. Personally, and just off the top of my head, I thought our game against Everton was worse. But then I tend not to remember games for too long afterwards, particularly bad ones, so what do I know? I can see myself forgetting the game fairly quickly.

I thought the ref was kind to us, particularly in the 1st half, were we seemed to get a number of decisions go our way. It was causing some grievance with the Mbrough fans at any rate. I thought the ref was generally low key and let things go. It was generally a low key game though and he didn't have a lot to do.

Sat in the ground, it felt like the ref was blowing for almost everything that he possible could, and this was having the impact on the flow of the game. That said, neither team was exhibiting any sort of real quality. Albrighton made a difference when he came on - but it was too late. It's not the worst game I've ever been to, nor will it be the worst for many I'm sure. It might even weed out some of the plastics...
Anyone watching sky will have missed it, but the most fun the fans had was with a ginger lad with an orange coat. That sparked chants about the fact that his cost matched his hair, followed by the assumption that he had a 'new coat for christmas'.
Ah, boring games. Someone has to make it interesting...

You know, now I think about it, I'm not really sure! I remember thinking in the 1st half that we'd got a sequence of calls in our favour, the ref either letting things go or blowing our way. Thereafter, I don't really remember him - hence me thinking him "low key". But then maybe it WAS a dull match and I had fallen asleep!

"You're just a fat satsuma!"

Slightly ruined at the end by the group of prats on our end who tried to get past the stewards to get to him on the final whistle.

I thought the ref had a decent game. Didn't think he was blowing for too much (but maybe that was because so many of the free kicks went our way) and he didn't seem fooled by some silly falling over (diving)

I thought he got most decisions correct. The 'Boro fans were ridiculous and baying for blood every time a decision went against them even though the free kicks awarded against them for fouls were obvious to a blind man.

this. And they were calling for fouls and handballs that just didn't exist. Think That Boro guy Gaston? should have been booked earlier than he was though for persistent fouling.
