So it's time for the new season to begin. Perhaps one of the quietest close-seasons for many a year for the super Foxes. A tough start against Mowbray's men I'd say.
Just for some pre-season info, we are 6th favourites for promo with most bookies, 'Boro aer 14th. I'm surprised to see 'Boro with such long odds.
Hopefully we'll get off to a flyer. I'll go for a cheeky 1-0 win, Wood with the goal deep into the second half.

Boro ended last season terribly far worst than us...

They've also got rid of a few including their top scorer and not signed anyone much...

I think we'll get a result there - 1 nil Leicester

3-0 to someone, not us though.

My prediction: Long drive, crap match, long drive, Chinese Take Away and beer for tea.

I think he will go 3-5-2
Kasper
SSL
Morgan
Whitbead
RDL
King
James
Drinkwater
Nuge
Wood
If we get to grips with this system and defend well we can snatch a 0-1 win Wood scorer

Why would he choose to start with only 10 players?

A midfield 3 of King James and Drinkwater is so uninspiring. You've got play either Knockaert or Marshall in a 3. Marshall could recapture his initial form here if given the freedom to attack from a central 3. A could Knockaert for that matter.

I agree we have a lot of options for the 3/5 in midfield in that system. It's the three at the back that concerns me the most about this formation - perhaps Konch, Moore and even Taft will come into consideration if it's to be an ongoing tactic...

Steve Beaglehole has already said that Taft is not ready for Championship level football.
