its not bad tbh, i like queen a lot and I can see the similarities. His voice is something different and in his first single he admits he is copying freddie so at least he is being honest about the copying! I might wnat to give the album a bit more of a listen before downloading but his second single sounds quite good, hits even higher notes than grace kelly.

He sounds like Queen meets the Darkness. I'm a big fan of Freddy Mercury's voice as are most others but I think Justin Hawkins is a crap singer.. Mr. Falsetto. I think this guy's song 'Grace Kelly' is alright though.. quite queer, very cheesey.. but I don't mind a bit of cheese. Infact I love a bit of cheese rock :icon_cool - although this is obviously.. cheese pop.

It's not me being pretenious, he's generally wank and doesnt have a bit of originality in him. People are falling into the hype machine generated by the wanky radio stations our on earth. They probably have some major interest in his record company.

Guess what I did.......I heard the song, I listened to the song, I liked ths song. I didn't feel the need to analyze, scrutinse, compare and read a million and one pretentious music sites and reviews before deciding my opinion.

As a result of liking the song, I bought the album. Just how i like it be.

I hate the accusement of pretentious. I can't think of a single band I own that is pretentious. In fact, if you name a band I listen to which you think is pretentious. Then I will put the song up in downloads, if they are 'pretentious' they wont have appear in the top 40 and you can make a judgement yourself.
