I doubt it very much. I've spoken to him several times on the train and that is exactly how he speaks. He seems to have a real feeling for people and had a genuine emotional attachment with the club long before he managed to buy it. If he says he's been having sleepless nights, I believe him!

Liked how he recognized the disappointent from the fans perspective, with his reference to those who made the long trip to Plymouth. Its a long time since i've heard someone who represents the club speak and say it how the fans want to hear. If we play shit , we play shit, and thats what i like about this guy i don't feel he represents the usual propaganda machine that speels bollux from within the club.

. Think of some the tossers we have had as chairmen of this club, cos i can't recall anyone previous who appears closer to the blue collar side than the white. Its a breath of fresh air if you ask me.highland fox

Not very I tend not to be on here but I wouldn't get too drawn in by MM's kind words
MM has shown hes got the balls and is not frightened to make tough decsions,he want our club to be with the best,
for me he handled 2day in immaculate fashion,very dignified but truthful and to the point,i think we hav a chairman here that has as much passion and fight as our greatest manager MON,lets hope MM's 3 year plan turns in2 a gud many years after tenure

I am absolutely sure that there is nothing to be drawn in by in MM's words. I've said it before and I'll say it again - he feels for the club as a fan does - there is nothing artificial about him.
I wasn't the only one to see him put his head in his hands when Plymouth scored their second and third on Monday. None of the 'stiff-upper lip' of the previous incumbents - when City fail, he is not afraid to let his feelings show.
