After last season, yes it is.

All those saying that this is the 'real' Leicester and that if last season hadn't happened this is where we'd be are missing the point. The point being last year DID happen and this season is VERY surprising.
Agreed and we should have realistically have been looking at a top six finish imo

I've noticed before that Benny is not the quickest at getting back. Morgan, for all his faults, busts a gut.

And Mendy's passing was often wayward yesterday. Commentators mentioned it, suggesting maybe the pitch wasn't helping.

For whatever reason, a number of players had a particularly poor game - even by their currently average standards.

The problem with Morgan is he is always out of position thus he looks heroic with all his last gasp tackles!

Wasn't Benny playing a more advanced position at this point?

Yes, we were pushing up. Benny was often towards the halfway line. We weren't playing for a draw.

In response to Feriol, no I didn't think Millwall were overly physical. First half, they were defending deep and in numbers, difficult to breakdown and looking to break. It changed with the sending off when they became more adventurous, but still not unduly physical.

It's not surprising to me. Last year was surprising. Vardy being a hero was surprising, Mahrez being the African player of the year was surprising. Leicester being in a prem relegation battle or a championship play off battle is not surprising.

It didn't get any better watching it for a second time this morning.

Benny was shocking for the goal wasn't he? Ran out of position in a 'Huth special' manoeuvre, lost possession and then daydreamed instead of getting back to where he would have been able to stop the runner. Chilwell was poor but Benny demonstrated basic ineptitude and caused the goal.

The 'finishing' of both Musa and Okazaki was up there with Akinbiyi and Benjamin. Completely extraordinary viewing.

And yet Benny played well enough to be in our first team going forward.

and at least Musa shot, I've seen so little shots from our all star forward line that I found it quite refreshing (well the first 20 minutes).

Maybe this is the game that everything turns around for us...........................................but probably not.

I do expect to see Mahrez play a blinder though which could lead to us actually scoring.

I'll get home and I might get started on the last of the books I got for Christmas.
And then, and only then, we can have a proper break from this ****ing football.

I might start writing a new book - also nothing to do with football (Crime or Humour). Actually I suppose there could be link either way between the darkness of Psychological/Criminal intent - or fall over laughing at the way my team has been doing recently.

The game was played yesterday. We lost.

Mahrez did play a blinder at least. Well, in the sense that I didn't see him on the pitch....
