Excellent.

Ricardo MOTM for me followed by Hamza.

Full debut for a hugely impressive Nelson.

90 minutes under the belt for Doyle.

Winks finally getting a rest.

Another goal for Tommy.

By far Casadei’s best performance. Looked like the player we thought we signed.

A debut for Maswinhese.

Very entertaining match, we go through.

Perfect, really. Only concern is how soft we are, generally, on set pieces.

Maidstone in next round please.
At home, for a change.

Cannon looks an excellent signing. Could have scored a hat-trick, but was also linking up play well.

Compare that with our dismal exits v Blackburn and Forest. The players that came in knew the system and their roles, although did look better as the game went on.

That was a lot more fun than I was expecting.

Casadei has to be up there for MOTM.

Doyle definitely has room to improve defensively, but he offers us so much with his range of passing.

I think Cannon is an excellent signing. He hits the target which is key for any striker.

I think Stolarczyk overall had a good game.

Fair play to Millwall, they look a decent team.

As predicted - we couldn't keep a clean sheet.
Still I really enjoyed seeing Albrighton playing again - and he put in a perfect cross for the first goal. Thought Ricardo was excellent - and Casadei probably had his best game for us. A joy to watch Cannon in the second half. We could have scored more -but hey! - happy we go on to the next round.

Cool as a cucumber, Cannon is. Reminds me a bit of Chris Wood.

Some good performances today Ricardo, Hamza and Nelson were very good, and Cannon has a bucketload of potential. MotM by far, though, was Casadei - he was ****ing excellent.

Doyle and Marcal were absolute dog filth, though, and we look a complete ****ing shambles at corners.

But job done, into the next round.

Quite fancy us for a good cup run this year, which would be very nice

Given we started fhe season with Marcal in/near the side thank goodness we snapped up Fatawu and Akgun.

Definitely struggled today, but he’s had a long spell out of the side and is still pretty young.

Hopefully he’s better than what we saw today.

Indeed, not writing him off, just would have been a big ask of him to be one of the three main wingers all season. Although Fatawu at 19 is doing it….

Don’t agree with the comments on Riccy.
He was sloppy with his passes and light in the tackle , at times.

Doyle needed subbing about 60th minute as he was struggling with match fitness.

Cannon has shown so much potential in just 2 starts.

Good that he wasn’t subbed at the 60th, as his assist for the third came in the 61st. ;-)
