This is a very winnable competition so we should aim to win it. It's a trophy and a back door route into Europe.

Our squad depth means we should be able to progress to the latter stages whilst rotating. It's actually quite important for several players to get game time.

Ultimately, the purpose of us trying to strengthen our squad depth over the last couple of years is for the cup competitions.

Our reserve side will comfortably beat Millwall reserves, as Millwall will change their side too. If we don't win tonight, something is very wrong.

Agreed. The fact that everyone else casts it off is why Pep has won it (every year since joining?) very regularly at least. It's silverware.

We've got a big and good enough squad now to give this a go with a decent reserve/backup side.

I hope we go a long way but continue to use the fringe players in it - it's good for those players to get game time and some match sharpness so they're ready to challenge for the first team

Plus it's the only domestic competition that since I started following (07/08) we have played in that we haven't won that we still can (Paint trophy looks unlikely from this point)

What an odd thing to think about that is. In fourteen years we've won league one, the championship, the premier league and the FA Cup.

Anyone who says they don't care about it would be ecstatic if we won it again. Who wouldn't want to see us pick up every domestic trophy within 6 years?

I want to win this one big time.

I'd love us to try and win another trophy. Sadly i think the euro conference thing will make most managers treat this as even more of a joke competition than before.

Don’t think it’s being broadcast at all Alex. A rare one these days.
Energy crisis and imperial measurements making a come back. Now we’ll potentially have no illegal stream for a Leicester game.

Next thing is Homer staining his legs with bisto when the nylon runs out.

It’s not Bisto I’m using…..

There was a fairly long time where it was the only thing I’d seen us win.

I read somewhere it is on Chinese PPV but that means it's extremely unlikely there will be any streams available tonight.

Sky Sports News is pretty good for the League Cup nights though as they will show the goals as and when they happen.
