Just heard that LCFC have missed out on signing another Australian midfielder to Leeds Utd, depite him spending time at Leicester and playing in a closed door friendly - anybody else heard 'ought on this? Apparently CL was keen for him to sign but then when you look at things why would somebody sign for City at the moment? Perhaps he was at the game on Sat.

That will be Joel Griffiths who has been playing for Neuchatel in the Swiss League. At 26 he's a bit older than most we have signed recently, isn't he?

He hasn't actually signed for Leeds yet. They hope to have in place in time for this weekend's game.

Quite - Levein has been sufficient rope and should not be empowered to bring in any more players - until - and as is most unlikely - he demonstrates some ability to achieve acceptable results with the players he already has at his disposal.
