The Wright move has already been reported on the OS.

The Gilbert story has now just appeared on the Sheffield Wednesday site - so it looks like I was right, and the transfer hadn't been completed until today. The other sites reporting it were jumping the gun.

And the fact that the Logan move hasn't been mentioned on the Boston site suggests that has not gone through yet.

The trialist thing is probably another story that's not really news. Players regularly spend time going on trial from club to club (particularly foreign players), but it's not really news until a club decides they're interested in him. I suspect this 'news' was leaked by the player's agent in an attempt to drum up interest from other clubs.

The Logan loan is another one that doesn't appear to have been officially completed yet (nothing on the official Boston site), so again they're probably waiting for it to be completed before telling us about it.

lol, i guess i worded that wrong. i was only pointing out that it seems wierd that the OS dont tell us what other sites tell us in some cases. In an ideal world i would like to use one source for news about my club, trials too, but hey ho, thats just me. :)

The OS has reported his initial emergency loan, and the extension to that loan.

What we're talking about is the story that he's due to stay there for the rest of the season, which has been published on an unofficial site, but there's no news on either official site, so I'd treat it as a rumour until there's official confirmation.

Conrad Logan will remain on loan with Boston United until the end of the season.

The Leicester 'keeper has performed well since making an initial two week move over the festive period.

And his form has prompted Pilgrims boss Steve Evans to tie up Logan's services for the remained of the campaign.

Logan has started three games for Boston so far.

The deal to extend the loan was actually finalised on Friday morning.

why are people bothered about if gilbert and wright have gone anyway? are we going to miss seeing them on matchdays? their wages cant be burning through the club either, me suspects just another chance to slate the OS or at least i hope thats the reason.........you cant seriously be bothered?

fair enough, i do suppose someone may even be interested if one of the catering staff resigned. my curiosity is satisfied now

you obviously don't, i cant understand why anyone is interested but no need for appologies as you say each to their own. i was just accepting your reply with some level of understanding
