I've just seen* MM buying "Big Phil" Scolari an Olympic Breakfast at the Little Chef on the A47 near Wisbeach. The cheeky feck grabbed a double choc chip muffin for the road an' all, but MM said he didn't mind and wrote it into his contract, which was being scrawled in that little space on the back of the Daily Mail where people who read the Mail can... learn to write?

Anyway, this looks like a shoe-in, so all bets are off as far as I'm concerned.

My "club-insider" contact (someone who is "close" to MM) is now telling me that MM has lined up a managerial dream team of Bill Shankly, Alf Ramsey, Brian Clough and Mystic Meg (translator).

Expect it to be announced in the morning. They are negotiating right now via a seance somewhere in Newton Burgoland....
