Mobile phones that are good

Despite my relatively young age, it's struck me that I know absolutely nothing about mobile phones.

I'm going to University soon, so I'm looking for a contract phone with quite a lot of minutes of calling time and about 375 or 400 texts. I'm looking at this website - http://www.mobilephonechecker.co.uk/ , and although there are lots of deals that look good I don't really know whether the phones themselves are any good. Can anyone provide me with any suggestions?

What do you want the phone for?

If it's just phone calls and texts there's no point spending more for stuff like mp3/video playing, camera, internet access etc.

I just want one that has the internet and has a camera which is about 3.0 megapixels or more.

Depends how much you want to spend per month but I think I saw one of the new google android ones with TMobile for about £19 a month.

I wouldn't recommend going through anywhere like carphone warehouse etc, just go straight to the company.

Id advise the opposite, go through CPW if you can get the same deal. You wont get a horrible branded handset with awful branded s/ware.

I have found their customer support shocking, half the time they tell me to speak to Orange, who then tell me to speak to CPW. Bad personal experience I guess rather than any other reason.

cpw everytime! only retailer who can compare all networks/tarriffs. they've got all signal maps and are never out of stock of anything, they also have a fit busty blonde in their Mansfield branch!!!
