Oh, he's clearly better than anything we've got and would give us more of a creative spark, but with our limited/non-existent budget I would say our main areas of concern are a decent holding midfielder and an out and out goalscorer.

Hendrie would keep Williams/Hughes/Hume/Johnson out, but unless Weso comes good very soon and competes in midfield, he'd be on his own. He'd not see much of the ball and when he did he'd be supplying strikers who are misfiring badly. I reckon Williams could make things happen if he had a proper hard, tenacious partner, doing the hard work and giving him plenty of room to do his hair, etc.

Plus, Hendrie is a grade A twat by all accounts. I'd rather blow any money we find down the back of the sofa on someone more likely to give a shit.
 
I would love it if he came here. Head out of clouds people, who would you play, Hendrie, Williiams, Hughes or Johnson?

Even if we could afford him, how could he improve his career by coming here to a 1st division bound club

I no. There just seems too be more and more stupid rumours posted on here though, dont you think? Where has the serious debate gone.

I think we have room for serious debate and the silly rumours.

I don't get too involved in the rumours. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum and great to have a serious conversation and debate with.

You will find out who they are, I won't name them as it's disrespectful to those who don't like to join in and are a bit quieter.

But I have had some good debates on both footballing and non footballing issues, and on the odd occasion I have even changed my opinions on certain things because of the high quality of the debater :eek:

It doesnt say that we will get him, i just pointed out it would be nice if MON let him come to us for a very small percentage of his wages, hence the favour........

Its hardly a rediculous rumour.
