Stupid move. What on earth is the benefit to us or to him in loaning him out? He is proven quality at this level and I'd like to see him and Hobbs form a permanent pairing at the back.

Curtis doesn't seem committed to us so thanks and goodbye. The Portugeezer is quality so he can fight for his place when fit. Tunchev may or may not ever play again but if he does that's another option.

I'm struggling to see how this is a stupid move. He flourished last season as a right back, but he's been awful as a centre back this season.

Am I right in thinking that his last game alongside Hobbs was against Portsmouth, when he was at fault for the majority of goals after Vitor got (undeservedly IMO) sent off?

No is last game was at Millwall. He wasn't as bad as others but IMO was equally at fault for their second goal with Hobbs.

Morrison has done well for us but is unlikely to feature much for the remainder of the season. He's ok back up so let's see who we bring in before letting him go.

Seems to me like you're judging him on two performances (Palace away and Portsmouth away), which were undoubtedly horrendous games for him. Morrison has had superb games as well this season (Leeds in the League Cup springs to mind). Hobbs, on the other hand, has entered several appalling performances (Macclesfield, Swansea, Millwall, Palace, Burnley, Watford, Ipswich) yet it seems there's no call for him to be turfed out of the club. Very odd.

Lets chill and assess whos coming in first, at least one defender i reckon (in addition to Naughton hopefully), id set sights high and go for Dunne, and fingers crossed for Tunch recovery

Tunchev is ****ed again. I spoke to him in Highcross the other day and he was limping due to a swollen knee again. He said it may be March / April before he is fit enough to play.

Seriously he needs to forget it now...

Dunne? What world do you live in?
hardly a life though is it, constantly being injured....although as you say, he is being paid. How long left on his contract?
Expires at the end of this season.

Does he beat the record set by Lee Morris?
Nowhere near. Morris managed two starts (10 appearances overall) in two and a half years. If Tunch leaves at the end of his contract without playing another game, he'll still have a better record: 27 starts (plus two sub appearances) in three years.
