Mouse Trouble...........

Ive got Windows XP Home edition on my laptop.When i use the mouse, you can click on a item by 'tapping' the pad.How do you change this.

I'm not sure what you want to change it to, but Start/Control Panel/Mouse will bring you to your Mouse Properties page and you will see an array of options there.
