Rule 38.3. It's an emergency loan, so player has to be registered (for weekend games) by 12 on the day of the match (or 3 hours before kick-off, whichever is earlier).

Heard about this on Radio Sheffield just before 2 whilst I was out working. According to Donny it was treated as an emergency as they have loads of players out. They only had 5 on the bench today.

Yeah, Donny have something like 15 of their first team squad out injured atm. It's ridiculous.

It's nothing to do with how many players they have out. All loans outside the window are termed emergency loans and would be subject to the same rule.

Good to have him playing at Championship level too rather than dropping him down to League 1 or 2, where they are less likely to develop as quickly.

I like Moussa so i'm glad he's doing well out on loan and hope he comes back and has a future on our books.

Spoke to a Southend fan at the weekend, and he was puzzled as to why we were playing him out wide. Very much thought of as a central midfielder-and he showed potential there against WBA
