I use Windows Media Player. I've tried other programs but none of them seem to be any better, so I don't see the point changing just to be 'cool'.

Is it anything to do with being 'cool'?

I don't use WMP because I find it slow, resource hungry, frustrating & not at all intuitive to use.

I'd smoke fags & wear a leather jacket if I wanted to look cool.

A lot of people refuse to use MS software for image reasons.
I've had more problems with other software - such as itunes, Winamp, VLC than I have with WMP, which is why I stick with it.

I see what you mean now.

I approach it in exactly the same way, I use the software that I've had the best experience with & am always on the lookout for something, functionally, better.

I use iTunes as I have to to sync with my phone. I've found Windows Media Player as good as anything though and excellent for streaming wirelessly to the TV via the 360

I like Windows Media Player. Simple and effective. IMO iTunes is wank.

Do a search for this skin; MMD3. I use it in windowshade mode, and set it to sit on top of the page I am working on and it fits nicely into the title bar without losing any features.
