My view on the Cov game.

I thought that overall it was a really good day out. The lads were lucky IMO to get a draw, and I was happy to leave with a point, despite telling my mates before the match that I wouldn't be. We started out the better side and we thoroughly deserved the goal, our best player Stearman finishing off a smart move. I thought we were going to run away with the match at this point, but soon after Stern John equalised. And Cov controlled the game from there on. Stearman, Johansson, Kisnorbo and Gerrbrand were rocks at the back, they were excellent at keeping McSheffrey, Adebola, John, Scowcroft et al at bay. A second Cov goal IMO was imminent, and it came, fortunately being ruled out for offside. I thought that Henderson had another commanding game, but despite this, I still do not trust him for corners. Half time in the concourses was mental, well played to all the City fans for really packing it out. :038: Second half was the same as the first, with Cov dominating, and I thought chances of us sneaking away with a point were gone when Kisnorbo got sent off for a very late, rash challenge. The move that surprised me the most was to bring Hume and Fryatt off for Hughes and Elvis. I would have thought we would have gone for the win, but maybe RK was happy with the point. I only found out after the game that they both weren't 100%, so I think it could have proved to be a good decision. Elvis ran but didn't provide much else to the game. I was relieved when the final whistle went, happy we had held on to the point.

The support today was fantastic. The atmosphere could IMO have been better, but then again I was sat in a crap part of the ground, so I probably missed a lot of the noise. 5,000 City fans were electrifying, especially when the twat Wise was near.

With performances like that on the pitch and in the stands, it can only be a matter of time before the good times roll on back to this great football club of ours.

Leicester till I die.

You must have been up in the gods of the main stand like me. Thought we were much better than them till the rough stuff started. We did well to get a result after that. Thought the ref lost control early on which stopped us continuing to play football, thus resulting in the normal MA long ball stuff together with a lot bad things happenong behind the ref's back. Thought Henderson had a poor game, instictive saves are ok but he doesn't command his area and gives me kittens everytime a high ball or a cross comes into the area. Good result for us in the end, earlier in the season we would have lost that one by at least three goals. Looking forward to next season now after seeing what our team is capable of ove rthe last three months. A mention for the support behind the goalmouth, you were superb and I felt out of it at times as I usually am amongst you. But the consolation was that I sat almost next to the great Frank Worthington most of the early afternoon wre we remembered a lot of the good times from a previous era with the Foxes.
