Well, I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I think to play tomorrow he would have still had to have signed/registered by Friday deadline?

Well, I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I think to play tomorrow he would have still had to have signed/registered by Friday deadline?

The rules tend to suggest that he could sign up to three hours before the match (on loan that is)......see 40.3

I know that we are light on striker cover but, given that we are not going to be in the top 6 this season, why would we sign a Premier League striker and, presumably, drop Beckford, who has just found his shooting boots?

Who said we will? If it is a younger player then it is realistic to sign as cover, of which we have none.

Could be a good shout. Had a good run at villa for a while but needs a run of games now. I'd be happy if it was him

Delfouneso has played on the wing in the past. Not sure about this lad technically but he has pace to burn.

Hopefully it's not him, one goal in eleven matches for Burnley and just three in near thirty appearances for Villa. Not really good enough on paper.
