Just watching Mahrez for Manchester City. He’s only started 33 league games in the past two seasons. The previous few seasons for us he started 34, 33 and 36 games. It seems like such a waste of a very gifted player to me.

I read a stat the other day that said he's played 90 minutes for them 35 times. W33, D2, L0.

And in those 35 games he scored 15 goals and got 24 assists.

I got the stats from the PL site. I’m not suggesting he hasn’t been excellent for them when he’s played but half as many starts on average per season than he had when he was with us just feels like a little bit of a waste of what is an exceptional player.
