Can anyone access that or do you get the same error message as Spion?

You can get to 'Your account' by clicking on 'Alerts' and then on 'Alert Preferences'.

I get the same message as spion if I try his route.

There's no need to do that. If you hover your mouse pointer over your username on the navigation bar at the top (next to inbox), it will pop up with all the options that appear in your account.

For most of the day there have been more people using the old site than the new one. People are ignoring the big notice I've put up telling them to come here. So I've closed down that site, you can't (at least for now) see old posts on there.
If you come here via a browser bookmark please change it so you come straight to this site.

Also, when I click on a thread it takes me to the first post not the last unread as with the old site. I can't work out if this is the problem others mentioned earlier or if that was just the new posts option.

It was the same problem as pork pie but it still takes me to the first post. I will keep watching to see if it changes when more use the site

Clicking the thread title will take you to the first unread post. If there are no unread posts, it will take you to the first post in the thread.
Threads with unread posts will have a blue dot to the left of the thread title.

Was just about to ask about the posts per page alteration.

Hope this can be increased as it is a bit of a pain in the arse.

Can the post number be displayed in the mobile version at some point as well please ?

First of all Jeff, pretty good new forum, looks great and really appreciate what you've done. Can't imagine the work involved. I do have a couple of minor issuse though. ( I'd assume you'd want to know of anything to help with the forum running smoothly) I may be being a bellend ( quite a high probability) but my browser keeps taking me back to the first page of every thread. I used to be taken to the last page I'd read but now straight back to page one... Also, I was going to PM you with this but couldn't for the life of me find out how to do this - hence this thread. Sorry to bitch but genuinely didn't know where to post. Cheers..

This thread was created for people to post things like this, which is why I've merged the thread you created into this one.
I would prefer people to post here with questions, rather than send PMs. That way everyone can benefit from seeing the answer.

I would also request that people read this thread before asking questions, as a number of people have repeated questions that have already been asked.

PMs are called conversations on this site. So to send one, click on a member's name, then click on 'Start a conversation'

If there are no new posts in a thread (or even if there are but you don't want to read the most recent), click on the date to the right of the thread title, for example at the moment the ex-players thread says this on the right: "Today at 4:42 PM". Click that and you'll go to the last post regardless of how many unread posts there are in the thread.
