You will occassionally see some collector's pieces come up on eBay aswell.. I've seen a few of Sambora's old guitars on there go for £3,000-£6,000 before.

I bought a quality 'Fender' acoustic guitar a couple of years ago and foolishly believed I could teach myself to play. I couldn't and gave up.
The guitar is just sitting there gathering dust now.

I had to teach myself aswell.

Well I didn't have to, I was and still am to tight to fork out for lessons.. that and I just wanted to learn things my own way at my own speed etc.
