New Kasabian Album - Velociraptor

Now then, I am a tad bias when It comes to Kasabian, I have always enjoyed their music and think they are right up there with the best live. However I make this comment with no Bias attached -



The new album is a total ****ing masterpiece, start to finish it is an exceptional piece of work, some really different stuff in there with a few 'Kasabian' rifts. There is a serious Beatles influence on this one, and one song in particular is very 'Gorillaz'

'La Fee Verte' is quite psychedelic, and seriously reminds me of the Beatles.


'Man Of Simple Pleasures' Is undoubtedly similar to Gorillaz, especially the opening, I hear voices also has a few similarities.


I love it, I really think it's an accomplished album.

I absolutely love this album, listened to it for hours on end today, simply fantastic.

Those are my personal favourites, but I can't really fault any song on the album, awesome stuff.

I don't like Kasabian, have never found their music listenable. I put them in the same over-rated category as Wombats and Muse.

I can't understand why anybody would over-rate Wombats. It's listenable and I enjoy most of the songs but that's it. They will never be anywhere near Kasabian. But as with any entertainment, music is so personal. I'm sure I wouldn't like some of the stuff you like or some of the books you read or TV programmes you watch.
