And it's on the chest, which we have got used to over the last 35 or so years. Horrific sleeve and all over the kit sponsors are for Scandinavian teams.

So conditioning.

So conditioning.
Not conditioning all . The larger logo was part of the shirt in line with the black and gold design . The purple SCB logo has hastily attached and looked extremely out of place.

Can someone explain to me why the tiny sleeve advert is so offensive, and the great big chest advert is not?

You have eyes don't you?

I don't think people are moaning that there's a sponsor on the sleeve. People are moaning because it's a ****ing monstrosity, and it turns one of the nicest shirts we've ever had into one of the ugliest.

If the King Power logo was on the sleeve, and that ridiculous purple eyesore was on the chest, then people would be moaning about the chest sponsor.

Please don't start allowing sponsors elsewhere on the shirts (or shorts, or socks), or we'll end up with something like this, or worse.

So if it's just a case of colour, would people be happy if we had a change kit in natty Fiorentina violet to match the advertiser's logo? I don't remember people complaining about colour in the Walkers/LG/Alliance+Leicester/Tops Tiles years

You've missed the point, massively.

It's a great shirt with a great collar (unusually). But some **** has found some scouts badges at the back of their wardrobe and has employed Stevie Bastard Wonder to attach them to the sleeve.

There, is that better?

Blimey, it really is conditioning. All of the logos we've had on that shirt since the Ind Coope days have been the badges of whoever would pay the most, applied to a shirt at rock-bottom design expense/effort. Occasionally that's looked slightly better, occasionally slightly worse. But it's the same old thing

For me the chest logo is part of the design.

It is not just a piece of tea-towel stitched or stapled on, which is what the arm one looks like.

The arm patch looks like an afterthought, rather than incorporated into the design if someone had come in late with an offer for sponsorship.

I think we used to have 'Thailand Tourist Authority' or similar on the back above the players name, but it looked part of the design, not like an old Scouts badge stapled on as CF suggested

Slate me if you want but I've purchased a shirt from a well known Asian based website like I did last season.

The cost of a football shirt in this country is ****ing outrageous.

What makes you think there is any chance of stopping it? Football is going to hell in a handcart.

People hated the chest logos initially - have you forgotten the walkers plastic disc for example?

You have been conditioned that chest logos are okay now, soon arm logos will be okay for you too.

Conditioning.

You can keep repeating yourself but its still not going to transform into a valid point. Yes i remember the crap crisp logo yes it was shite . I tbink you are attempting to indicate that i accept sponsors on the chest but not on the arms although im unsure as to why ? Im at a loss as to why you cant grasp the simple point that its the quality and haste of application that has irked some people . Exactly like when the king power letters fell of the shirt ( on the chest a few years back ) .

I may be a slave to corporate culture, but my favourite logo was the Office Depot one we used to have.

I'll keep repeating myself, you'll keep repeating yourself, that's how conditioning works.

Fact is you've accepted chest advertising but arm advertising is new and you haven't accepted that yet.

In the NBA they are allowing chest advertising this season for the first time, fans are in uproar, I remember the same in football.

I believe you are missing the point also.

The attachment of advertising to the shirt virtually anywhere is unconditionally okay so long as it is integrated into the shirt design well, such as the King Power logo go on the chest.

The tourist board arm logo is unacceptable as it looks like some old scouts embroidery badges that have been put on 'after the event'.

It is unconditionally crap.

I hope I've helped?
