The Gambling Commission is writing to Leicester (and Everton and Forest) to "warn the clubs that their officers could face up to 51 weeks in jail and unlimited fines if they were found guilty of promoting "unlawful gambling websites".

"It wants an assurance from the clubs that they have "carried out due diligence on their white label partners and that consumers in Great Britain cannot transact with the unlicensed sites," it said."

Maybe this is how we'll finally see the back of them - lock 'em up I say!

The ****ing gambling commision.

For decades a bunch of toothless twats sitting on their hands doing **** all while bookies restricted accounts for anyone winning regularly while bombarding clueless punters with VIP offers.
Then, when they finally decide to do something they attack the customers. Then deny that they did it.
Their stupid ****ing affordabilty checks (basically running a credit check on people who aren't even asking for credit) have, according to a report this week, resulted in a 500% increase in black market bookmaking. They can **** off, the club can **** off, BC Game can **** off. Everyone can **** off.

Hmmm. Not if we have been in receipt of proceeds of crime.

Isn't there a club whose owner is also the owner of a gambling exchange that had little controls on money laundering? Easy way to pass money those things.
