I think that’s a flat four with Chilwell advanced.

Bit surprised by it. Also sort of surprised to see Youri back in and Gray dropped.

If it is, BR is making one hell of a statement to Albrighton, Gray and Barnes. Basically, none of you are doing enough.

I'd be surprised especially with a game we'll need them for on Saturday.

On the other hand, if we were going to play three at the back, why wouldn't we have kept Morgan in?

Odd.

think Gray can feel a little hard done by, you ask players to take their chance, he does but still doesn't start the next game

Odd.
Cus Wes would have to play in the middle of it and he wants Soyuncu there and Wes is too slow to play in the wider positions

If it is Chilwell in a more advanced role on the left then it's exactly the right move. The kid can't defend to save his life so let's use his best assets to our advantage. BN is right though, if this is the case then it is a very strong message to Gray, Barnes and Albrighton. If its a back 5 then Morgan would have been a much better choice. He's hardly put a foot wrong when we've needed him this season.

With the way the players are listed by the club, it definitely suggests a back 3, with Ricardo and Chilwell as wing backs.

A message to Gray, Barnes and Albrighton, but potentially also to those doing the transfers that we need a winger.

I'm from the Roy Keane school of how to treat your opponent, i.e. they are the enemy. Keep friendships away from the pitch.

This sort of thing unnerves me. I noticed against Liverpool that three of our players waited for Liverpool players to give them their shirts after the game, with loads of silly shakes and hugs. If I'd lost 0-4 like that, I'd have been nowhere near the opposition.

I'm confused by this lineup. Whatever formation it looks like Iheanacho will be a bit isolated, which I don't think he has the attributes for.

and how's Roy Keane's reputation as a manager & coach these days? players are friends stop deluding yourself of anything else, it doesn't effect their performances either way

It’s called Skitzplaining. State something hypothetical or an opinion as a matter of fact and then defend it to the hilt.
no its called having an opinion, and having an educated guess as to why else we would play a back 3 and use Fuchs there not Wes

Not a back 3

Soyuncu on the right of it Evans central, when we've gone to a back 3 in game without bringing Wes on they had Evans wide Soyuncu in the middle

Tielemans is so ****ing slow sometimes.

Just recently he's been right off the boil

I find the switch to a back 3 today strange. Why is it needed?

I do think Rodgers like this system though... He played it when he first came in and our hunt for another first choice level centre back suggests he maybe wants to have it as an option more often.
