Started well but when to shit after the equaliser. Not good to see yet another feck up from Schmeichel. Mendy and Daka have both been overly sloppy, Soyuncu and Amartey not overly connvincing when they had to defend. On the positive side Lookman has been great as has Perez and Dewsbury Hall, but the former two saw very little of the ball as the half went on... Needed that half time to come around just to press the reset button. It's all gone very flat. Really don't like this one man up top formation either, 4-4-2 needed again IMO.

we were doing okay, stringing some nice moves together without being too threatening before our goal . And then we conceed a soft goal and suddenly we look fragile again, ( and shocking to hear we have lost 24 pts.)
Sloppy from Youri, Mendy, Armarty - Daka yet to make a decent contribution.
Need to regroup and pick up again in second half - we should be in a position to win this if we use KDH, Lookman more and a couple of subs to up the pace.

This game is ideal for us to see which positions we need to improve on. Tielemans is doing us a favour moving on based on this season. In the last few weeks hes been an absolute liability at times. Soyuncu and Amartey are both fkin shit. Striker, CB and a proper competent LB needed with a CM to replace the departing Tielemans.

Newcastle are an absolutely bang average / poor premier league team and are there for the taking. It's just a matter of if we bother to perform.

He played in a two before joining us and when he was played alongside Iheanacho he looked excellent. His runs are not those of a lone striker but someone who is playing with another forward.

He's got a lot to learn about being a lone striker.
