I'm going to Newmarket on Thursday with work.

As i don't know anything at all about Horse Racing i thought I'd check if anyone had any tips?

Yeah - don't stand near the arse-end of any horse. It will either shit on you or kick you. It's no safer at the other end either, where you will be either bitten or knocked over - particularly if it has a South Yorkshire copper on board.
