I think somebody said on here that Kelly has stated at some point in the past that Craig was the most stubborn arsehole (paraphrasing!) he had ever worked with, it was Craig's way or no way. I may be making it up though, can any of the mods find the post?!

Leicesters fans confidence is very easily knocked and Levein was very quickly beond the point of no return. Maybe other clubs would have been more patient but thats football.

i think we were far too patient with him, it was downhill since day 1 with levein, i thought he should of gone before christmas but we flukely stuffed sheff utd (they had very off day)and it think that is what kept him in his job until he was finally releived from a position that way out of his depth. if only he sodded off a month or so earlier, imagine where we could be now, play-offs easily and wud of been pushing sheff utd for 2nd spot :icon_roll

Bollocks. We were fantastic that day. Why must every achievement under Levein be undermined? His good signings? Kelly must have gotten them in. Good results and performances? Fluke.

If he'd left us a month earlier, and we'd had the same results in that period as we've had since Kelly took over, we wouldn't be in the play-offs 'easily', we might just be challenging for 6th place. We'd still be around 20 points behind Sheffield United.

yes, and if he'd have gone in December prior to tough matches at Reading and Palace imagine the stick RK would have got if he'd have had a losing run. I wanted CL to be sacked but do think there is a lot of history being rewritten about how much RK was doing behind the scenes etc.

yeah well it was just a tad sarcastc, hence the :icon_roll

and i believe sheff utd had 2 or 3 key defenders out, it was a bit harsh to say it was a fluke, but given the results of other matches around that time it did not suggest that we were good enough to beat the second place team.
now i am more confident and think we are quite capable of giving reading a run for their money as, they did play well against us but they hardly had any shots and if it weren't for gerrbrands slip they would might not of scored as we were looking quite comfortable in the second half.
