Re: nigel pearson

Schmeichel

De Laet
Morgan
St Ledger
Konchesky

Marshall
James/Danns
King/Drinkwater
Dyer/Vardy

Beckford
Nugent

Looks pretty strong to me. Anyone would say we are probably a winger and right back short of ideal but its hardly short on quality. We also need some strength in depth granted. Just doesn't look short of 'quality' to me.

The problem that I have with that team is the lack of bite in midfield: who is going to win the ball? It seems that a reasonable - though not exceptional - defence is going to be asked to deal with all the ball winning and I also think that Vardy ought to fight for a striker's role (coming off the bench), rather than being stuck in as a makeshift left winger.

Time will, of course, prove who is correct but, whilst I would not see your team struggling to remain in the Championship, I do not see it striking fear into the top ten teams.....

We have no idea about James and Drinkwater and Danns were both tenacious last season.

If I have understood your post correctly as it is quite hard to understand: Would this be the same Neil Danns that got more red cards than Matt Mills last season? Can't be having players that get sent off in the team as that should be punishable by death.

If it wasn't more it was definitely the same.

Should have been even more too. The referee had two chances to send Danns off in the home game against Southampton and didn't take either of them. Danns has a tendency to jump into challenges.

Re: nigel pearson

So who do you think we should sign? People might feel less inclined to take the piss if you backed up your dislike for Pearson with a reasonable argument.Well looking at the squard we need a defender, defensive midfield and a striker

*Waits for PEAR SON out tirade.*
