I know someone that works for Codemasters and testing that very game..

I was thinking about getting the Wii actually. I haven't had a console for a few years but this sounds interesting. Especially the backwards compatible part. I am quite handy with a remote control already and its going to be quite cheap I've heard. Less than £200

Id imagine that will most likely be there, they are doing some sort of virtual console thing on it where you can buy 'retro' games from previous Nintendo consoles online for a cheap price and play them.. I'd love it if they bought Goldeneye 007 back.

yep every nintendo game ever is avalible but goldeneye and other games not made by nintendo are a problem.

The makers of Goldeneye, Rare, are now employed by microsoft, so nintendo would need rights from them as well as Activision who currently own the rights to publish all James Bond games.

It's looking like the release date for Wii is going to be 02/10/2006 - before PS3. Sooner than I'd expected although apparently the official date is going to be revealed next month?...
