Well that is bound to entice any prospective new manager, isn't it ?

No funds for incoming Foxes boss

Leicester City chief executive Paul Aldridge says the club's new manager will not be able to add to his squad.
The Foxes were relegated to League One last season and Aldridge says Ian Holloway's replacement will not have funds to freshen things up.
"There certainly won't be any players coming in, that's for sure," Aldridge told BBC Radio Leicester. "As for players going out, clearly we would have to consider any offer that was made and respond accordingly." Aldridge added: "But we haven't got anything to consider at the moment so it's not something we have to worry about."

Ive noticed that Aldridge & Mandy seem to contradict each other quite often :icon_conf

Exactly. If you watch the interview with EMT then MM says he will support the Manager with resources. I wish these two would sort their act out. :icon_conf

Surely thats got to be a piss take.

I doubt whether "no new players" will turn out to be literally true,PDS but I believe that there is a bit of 'denial' amongst some supporters who haven't yet understood the damage that relegation to the wastelands really means.

We were already carrying too expensive a squad last season - not that many of them earned their wages - so I have always assumed that the main changes for next season will be through trying to lose players both for financial and playing reasons.

This club is an embarrassment. The chairman saying one thing, the CE saying another.

These two need their heads banging together and need to sort this shit out.

So WFT are they going to use the season ticket money on then:102:

A while ago the club said we would not be using it on agents but would use it on players.(wages??)

If this is the case then why the hell im i paying to watch the same crap in a differant Div FFS.

Any manager would want to bring in 3-4 players of his own to help our team ,at thia rate we will not get a manager at all.

Not happy at all ,e-mail sent to MM :icon_evil

If we have no money for players then we seem to be worse off than before MM came or at least in as bad a situation.

Before he came we had no money for players but at least we were in the Championship where as now we are League 1 with no money for players. I have always backed MM when there have been rumblings of discontent but if this is true then he can go fcuk himself!!

Perhaps any money coming in will be used to pay off debts so he can accept less for the club and make a quick exit. This is not good enough and the club stands to alienate the fans further than they have ever been before.

I love you newts. FACT!

Thats a direct contradiction of what Mandaric said a few weeks ago about there being big changes.

Exactly. If you watch the interview with EMT then MM says he will support the Manager with resources.

Not only that, but he related his willingness to support the club financially directly with the selling of season tickets. "I want to see how much the fans support the club by their purchase of season tickets before I decide how much more of my money I put in", is as near as dammit to what he said.

So, now we know! 10,000 season tickets sold for third division football = SFA as far as MM is concerned.

I hope that's not the email you sent. :icon_lol:

I wonder what effect it would have had on season ticket sales if he had announced this one week ago.
