Unsurprising.

Camden & Islington United ?

The name just screams out that they're sponsored by an organic allotment community collective & have a non binary club mascot. End of season awards night includes a raffle to raise money to support trans rights in South Sudan.

Lax reporting too. They told us that half the board is made up of women but NOT how many of them are munters. Context is everything.

I used to referee the Islington Midweek League, which was basically the psychos who couldn’t wait seven days for Sundays on Hackney Marshes. Amusing as you are, you need to update your stereotypes

Amusement is the only use for stereotypes. They're worthless for anything else.

I'm sure there are plenty of axe murdering, alcoholic, racist wife beaters & Chelsea fans in both Camden & Islington.

Coalville a goal down in their FA Trophy quarter final at Macclesfield.
lost 3-0

Never recovered after a calamitous own goal early on.

Cracking ground now though and Sav put £500 behind the bar so had a few free Caden Hellles.........and a few paid for.

Nowhere else for Lako to go now - welcome back to the KP, mate

I don't know much about them tbh, but it seems strange to completely pull the plug.

Fair enough if the owner is losing money but why not just put the club up for sale rather than close then down pretty much??

Or his gripe about the unnamed councillor is valid. Or somewhere in between.

They’ve had loads of help from the district and county council - they’ve over reached and over paid on wages

To let it go bang out of the blue like this doesn’t quite ring true, in my opinion

they’ve over reached and over paid on wages
I think that's probably true of lots of non-league teams (and league teams, too). The cycle of "club gets new owner, brings in new players, spends money, climbs the ladder, goes pop when said owner leaves" is a well trodden path.
