Our defence is absolute dross. Nacho pulled one back to make it look not quite as bad as it actually was...
 
We are a shambles. Defensively it is a ****ing embarrassment we haven’t signed a proper defender in January. You get what you deserve at the end of the day.

Every time we go forward, we look like scoring. We've just not done it enough. Every time they go forward, they look like scoring. They've done it more.

That's it. Two poor sides that cannot defend. One is attacking more than the other. Nothing else in this.

If BR is a tactical genius he has to be capable of seeing some obvious issues here. It's not hard to sort out.

I still think this match is there to be won if we make some smart decisions now.

Brenda is a fraud. It’s like when we had Mickey Adams. We thought we were where we deserved to be and he was doing a good job, but years later in the cold light of day you realise we actually had enough to stay up comfortably and he was just shit.

We had enough to be top four over the last 3 seasons… he ****ed it. Every. Damn. Time.
 
Amartey doing that 24 fecking seconds after going one down. It's just not acceptable for a professional. Even worse than Tielemans against Spurs in injury time.

Really disappointing but really not surprising either.

We have no leaders on the pitch and are great at capitulaing.

I'll be amazed if we don't concede at least 2 more.

We could easily score a load if we change things up a bit, cos they look wank at the back

We've not been bad on the rare occasion we've got forward, it's the defending as usual. It's constantly absolutely putrid. Game after game. No leadership, no aerial presence. Slapstick stuff at times. What the feck has happened to Soyuncu this year I don't know but he has well and truly regressed into a completely hapless center back. Amartey is shite as usual. Evans is past it. Fofana is currently crocked. Vestergaard was the most obvious gigantic waste of resources before he even kicked a ball and so it has proven since.
 
Pathetic useless defending again - costing us - again.
Tielemans is supposedly captain - he needs to show he is at least interested in whats going on around him.
Maddison and Nacho look like the only ones putting in any effort.
We could still get something out of this but not if we play the same lacklustre dross as the first 45.

We're the cup holders -now get out there and play like it
