These type of investigations generally mean lots of public money wasted and no meaningful outcomes of any kind.

The only interesting thing to me is that its further evidence of how its endemic in the game for managers and executives to have a vested interest in selling off their best players. Fans are just fodder and think that it's a manager's job to build up a squad not understanding that there are contractual agreements in place giving the manager etc a cut of the sales proceeds.
