Odhiambo and Gradel

Odhiambo and Gradel seem to be really useful players who consistently turn other playeres 17/18 year old teams out of the water.
Shouldn't they be pitched into the 16 to see how they handle the run in. Let's face it, they can't be worse than saturdays shambles.

No we won't... We will see players with no possible future at the club. I can see us having a midfield of Yeates (probably go back to Spurs?), AJ (contract expiring), Jarrett (Back to Preston although they probably won't want him?) and Tiatto (going back to Oz)... I agree that we should give the promising kids a go but it will not happen.

Mind you.. Good luck to both these players but aren't we in danger of thinking our academy is the dogs bo!!ocks when really it has hardly produced anyone of note since Heskey. Tommy Wright was the great goalscoring hope and where is he now. Matt Heath - enough said. Richard Stearman - jury still well and truly out. Is he ever going to 'realise his potential'. I exclude Little Levi from this list as he actually looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

exactly his contract is up at the end of the season and he hasn't even made a first team appearance

He's progressing kind of tho aint he. Loan spell at Northwich cut short when at a time there was a very real chance he'd play against Fulham. Now another level up, at Rochdale who are playing very well atm.

I wouldnt be suprised to see either of these two lads or Billy McKay with a nice last day appearance.

I can not argue that except maybe a contract is in the pipeline and any good form at Rochdale proves he's worth renewing.
