Hello everyone,
It's been a long time (not long enough, haha)
I hope you are all ok and looking forward to the new season - I am.
Any way, I'm here to ask for some advice.
There is a group of about seven of us going camping this weekend and we aren't sure where to go.
We are thinking the Lake District but are considering different options. The questions I'd like to ask you, my learned friends are:

1) Where should we go?
2) Do you know of any campsites that allow large groups of lads?
3) Any recommendations?

Last year we went to Abersoch, Wales and basically got thrown out of town.

I've heard that Pirbright in Surrey is very welcoming at the moment - the fields are strangely empty at the moment, leaving plenty of room for campsites.

we are going to norfolk in two weeks camping.very nice with nice beaches.also northumberland around alnwick and berwick.a lot of sites dont except all male parties,maybe a few could go in drag

The amazing thing about the fields in and around Pirbright is that the Public Footpaths which run over them have not yet been closed and people are able to follow them at will. What a way to counter an epidemic!!

I use this website. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/ . The reviews are pretty reliable. I expect if you're in a group you'll be looking for the bad reviews i.e. noisy, late night music etc.

There's a site in Suffolk which not only caters for groups it also has BBQ areas set up by the pitches, and allows fires.... If you're interested I will get details.

ive no kids but have two dogs, camping is my only option when having a holiday in the uk.probablly camp once a year if that and only for three days at a time.if i didnt have dogs camping would be the last thing i would do :icon_bigg
