As title says, off to see Ian Brown tommorrow, mate texted me today at work saying he has got two spare tickets for tomorrow's gig, as if I am going to turn that down!

He was supporting the Manics a few years ago.

To be fair, he didn't have all the equipment for a headline set as you know. But that doesn't remove your ability to sing, and doesn't entitle you to behave like a cnut.

Very disappointing.

T'was a great gig, brilliant atmosphere especially when he played a few Stone Roses songs!! He really can't sing live though, but it was all about the atmosphere, so many people 'rockin' along and loads of drugs flying about!

I knew it was my fault when I thought he was shit.

I was concentrating more on his singing and entertaining abilities as opposed to what the loons were doing all around me.

Would I have enjoyed it more if I had been smashed out my box and dancing around in the concourse instead of actually watching the talentless monkey on his stage?

I didn't even respond to one of your posts, so why you have decided to attack my review of the gig has puzzled me a bit. But if it makes you feel better about yourself, you carry on.

We were discussing this gig earlier, I gave you my experience, and you said you would give me yours. You gave me yours and it was more positive than mine, I then asked you a question, along with an example of how I might have enjoyed it more.

Your words earlier in the thread were "I'll report back to you". You kept your word and did just that, it would have been rude for me not to converse with you after you made the effort.

I'm fully aware of what was posted prior to todays posts.

They way you replied to my post today was as if I had responded directly to you, and then you go on to put 2 & 2 together and get something along the lines of 76529.2.

Could you please point out where I said it would have been better if you had just stayed in the concourse and focussed on the crowd instead of the act?
