Re: Jermaine Beckford

Phil McNulty from the BBC says it's £2.5mil that's been accepted, not £4mil.

But then...

1332: BBC Radio Leicester confirm that Leicester City have had a bid "in excess of £4m" for Everton striker Jermaine Beckford accepted. The player is yet to agree personal terms

Maybe it's £2.5m rising to "in excess of £4m" though.

Re: Jermaine Beckford

I really don't want Kebe. I can't stand him.

He's one of the best players in the Championship and you don't want him? He's certainly, in my mind, the best winger in the Championship. You need your head testing mate...

Re: Jermaine Beckford

SSN are also saying that a bid in excess of £4m has been accepted by Everton.

Re: Jermaine Beckford

Beckford scored 8 prem goals in 32 appearances last season, but he only started 15 of those games! Would be a great signing. Also Beckford at £4m sounds alot better than Maynard at £6m.

Agreed. I think.

Re: Jermaine Beckford

Just hope that Blackburn/Fulham/AN Other do not match our bid. We may struggle to persuade him as it is...

I'll grant you he has potential. Would rather a slightly more experienced 'fox in the box' type striker myself. A modern day Cottee is what's needed.

Re: Jermaine Beckford

And isn't he another of those arseholes with a tattooed neck?!

Football365:

13.33: BBC Radio Leicester confirm that Leicester City have had a bid "in excess of £4m" for Everton striker Jermaine Beckford accepted. But even if Stracqualursi is coming in, surely Everton won't let one of their few remaining strikers to go?

Re: Jermaine Beckford

Does that mean I have to stop calling him German Breakfast now?
