bobby did you go to see elvis costello the other week ?
No missed it, only just got into his stuff after buying a compilation for £5.99 from Asda (bargain!!). Can't believe I've overlooked his talent for so long :-( My mate went and said it was great stuff. Did you go Lazzer?

yeah i always thought he was ok but he did surprise me he's quite a nifty guitar player he had about 25 guitar changes :D

It's the freshest Oasis album for a long time. Ignore Lyla which tbh is the oldest sounding track on the album. I am impressed with it.
I've got it now and it's a decent album, best tracks on it in my opinion are part of the queue and let there be love

Giant Steps-The Boo Radleys.....now added to the list

Wake up Boo - or something like was a hit for them. I seem to remember it was a good pop tune. :D :D  ;-)

It was Steven but that song was a deliberate attempt by them to have a big 'hit' which worked!!All their other stuff is a lot less 'poppy'(for want of a better word).I much preferred stuff like 'Lazarus' and 'Barney and Me'.

Currently essential summer listening in the Oxfoxmobile:

The Earlies - These Were The Earlies
Augustus Pablo - King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown
Wilco - Being There
Engineers - Engineers
Sly & The Family Stone - There's A Riot Going On

P.S. Highland - very surprised you didn't mention "Wishing I Was Skinny" by the Boo Radleys followed by a 'pithy' comment on how this might apply to a certain other board member.

Or perhaps the heat has got to me. :smt118
