I'd say it was encouraging to see a manager recognize that players should play in their natural positions....but then he has played Maybury, Mattock and Hume on the wing, and shoved Kenton in at central midfield.

God only knows what he plans to do with Jimmy Chambers when he gets fit again.

Hopefully play him at right back. From what he showed playing there when he first arrived he looked like he had more to offer than any right back we've had for a long time, particularly going forward.

Having said that Maybury looked quite good to begin with, until we destroyed him. Does anyone else think that players come here and look good for a few matches and then seem to sink to the same level of mediocrity shown by the rest of the team?

Hume, Fryatt, Clem all seemed to look pretty good for a while and yet now seem to be able perform as poorly as the others.

Do you think they can sense the negativity of the support, has Holloway got it right? Somebody tell me what i should think. I'm a blue mongie.
