On-Line ticket sales.

Just brought some tickets for tuesday on-line for the first time in ages.

Well anyway my gripe is that if you pay by debit card it wont let you complete the transaction unless you put a card start date in, which a maestro card doesnt feckin have!!!


Useless feckin os once again.

For fecks sake give them a break - the award winning OS team have been ever so busy updating to the new fangled decimal system.

Everything about the ticket office is bollocks. Absolute garbage service from the club. If your request transcend anything other than "can I have x amount of tickets" they're stumped. I rang them a while back to check if tickets were available OTD for an away match. Cue twenty minutes of holding, be right backs and thanks for waitings.

I also ordered tickets via email to the office for the Villa cup game to secure my seat. They charged me a booking fee, which I wasn't made aware of and for some unknown reason they sent the tickets to my Dad's address despite the fact I gave them all the infor they needed on the email!

Bank transfer? Why would you expect them to accept that? It's not immediate - action has to be taken to ensure that value has been received. If you've got a bank account, you can pay them by cheque or by debit card.

Many companies don't take Solo. That's be cause of difficulties with Solo - difficulties which Solo need to sort if they want to have their cards more widely accepted.

Maybe so, but all the big stores accept it, and I've never had any problem with Solo.

If tickets are available on the gate, it is usually advertsied on the OS, together with the extra charge above advance tickets. As soon as the position on gate-sales is known, it is also advertised in the Go Away section of this forum.

I can'r imagine why people chhose to pay to hang on the phone when the information is already available or can be obtained by email.

The site is hardly readily accessable. I cant even read the news on there without being hassled over and over again about signing up. I sign up. It rejects my username and/or password five days later. I cant sign up with the same email adress, I only have one so thats that ****ed. I dont deal with the OS for the above reasons. Phoning the ticket office is MY way of getting information, something that shouldn't be a hassle, but, more often than not, is.

Have you ever been to visit them in person?!? Absolute quality service who saved me money at the clubs expense. Don't you think that someone would be slightly peeved that they have to reply to a task which can be very easy to find elsewhere. You have OS, e-mail, local press, programmes way in advance, here and Foxestalk have their 'away' sections.

As I've said the OS doesn't do it for me, I don't get any local press because I'm not in Leicester very often now and I've been to perhaps two games in the latter half of the season. I don't travel to away games v. often, but the ones I've tried to get to (bar Sunderland earlier on this season) has been a headache. I can only go on my recent experiences, and they've not been very good.
