The last thread was a lucky omen or something so I'm biting, no matter how irrational I can't help it.

Liverpool (h)
Man City (a)
Arsenal (a)

I think if we can get 3 points or more from those we'll be doing well, as on paper at least our fixture list is fairly kind after that.

I think we'll beat Liverpool, draw with Man city, and lose to Arsenal.

I think we'll beat Liverpool and perhaps get a point from one of the others. We are capable of spoiling as well as entertaining.

These games are almost a free hit though. Lose all three and we'll still finish in the top four, so long as we perform as we can in our remaining home games.

I just can't see any of the chasing back overhauling ten or more points in the remaining months

Thing is if you look at the other games teams have it could have a huge bearing. We're completely concentrated on the league.

Liverpool have two cup games before we play them. There high pressing game is going to be hard to keep up with that kind of schedule.

Arsenal play Barcelona just after us.
Guessing Man city have a champions league game too.

Could just be everything us turning up Leicester.

Main thing is as a minimum to keep bettering or matching ManU results , I can't see anyone else coming from the pack below .

I think we can get 7 from 9.

Ranieri has done a brilliant job so far of keeping us as the underdogs, but now we have crossed the 40 points mark and are clear at the top going into February, the spotlight is firmly on us.

Claudio my friend, you have performed a miracle. Unfortunately the pressure is now on us. We have to play the chasing pack. (and we have just beaten Spurs).

The title is ours to lose.

Yes, these games look tricky. However, once they're out of the way, we'll have played Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, Stoke & Liverpool home and away (along with Villa & Bournemouth) and, guess what, other "big" teams still have to play each other after that.

There's a hell of a long way to go, so it's just a case of enjoying the ride.

Wow. Who could imagine this thread a year ago?

Very tough 3 games.

If we get 3 points from 9, we're doing okay - particularly if that comes against Arsenal or City.

I'd be very pleased if we manage 4 points or more from those 3 games.

Arsenal is probably the toughest one right now, but you never know what mood Man City will turn up in - they can give anyone a thumping.

Excited to see how it looks after these 3, but realistically I think City and Arsenal will be ahead of us after these

Even if we lose all 3 though, we're still in the top 4!

Nine points, Clownio, you complete bastard, or get the feck out of my club

It's almost impossible to believe, but to be Champions we now don't have to be better than any other team, as we are already ahead. Even if we only match their results we are home and hosed, they have to do better than us to stop us winning it!
3 points against Liverpool would be great of course ( and like others on here, I'd put this down as one of the games I'd really take great satisfaction from winning in any season) but a win against Man City or Arsenal would be better still. As Claudio says, it is alright for the fans to keep dreaming!

Imagine the scenario in our final three games if we're still in the mix with Man City and Arsenal.

We could find ourselves going to Old Trafford with 75,000 people cheering us on. Likewise on the final day at Stamford Bridge, it isn't beyond possibility that they support us beating their side too.

Three to four points from the next three games will be spot on. However, I'm looking at our results and comparing them with the first half of the season. We're currently two points ahead of the equivalent fixtures against the same teams from the first round. We'll still be ahead of this range if we lose all three of these matches.

Surely we'd be equal if we lose all three?

We got one point from those three fixtures first time around. We're now two ahead. We'd have to be deducted one point to be equal.
