he was indeed, I can't remember why Levein let him go - I can only assume it was because of his wages, because in his place he bought Rab Douglas, who obviously is aboot the same age.

He was one of the lads on big wages so Lvein quickly identified him for the chop to bring the wage bill down.

Walker was never any good at crosses either though, just a good shot stopper. Isn't Henderson a good shot stopper though???

Wlaker was alright with crosses. I remember him claiming many.

IMO there have only been five decent keepers since I started watching City in the late 70s, whom I would rank as follows:

1. Flowers
2. Walker
3. Keller
4. Wallington
5. Poole

All the rest have been cack.
