My PC is running a bit slowly these days. I have plenty of hard drive space and have closed all the non-essential back ground programmes. Are there any programmes that people can recommend for fine tuning my computer?

I would be wary of using many such programmes; some are known to cause more problems than they solve.

Have you googled for a solution? Ignore any suggestion that is going to cost you any money: I am sure you will be able to find a forum where the solution to this kind of problem is outlined.

They won't 'fine tune' your PC, but they will do an excellent job of getting rid of shite that may be cogging your PC and slowing things down for you.
