For me it could be one of 3 options:

1) Assistant at Sheff Wed
2) Manager at Leicester
3) Assistant at Leicester (maybe to Bob Bradley seeing as they have worked together before)

My guess at the current sequence of events -

Someone put £1 or so on Perky as our next manager after finding an old panini sticker album. Bookies then spend a few hours working out who the feck he is before deciding it's a bit too random and drop their odds. Others see short odds and put money on, other bookies drop odds.

Mandaric is no longer at SheffWeds. The connection to Mandaric is just as likely to lead to us rather than them, seeing as we know there was at least some cordial discussion between Mandaric and our current owners owing to the Pearson/Sousa/Sven debacle of the summer of 2010.

Surely the club would make a comment on speculation to relax our fears. I know they've put the shutters up recently. Which is fine. But a ridiculous rumours like this and they need to put a stop to it if it's not true!

They need to do no such thing. They've not responded to any of the others, why should they this one?
