Foxybru I suspect you need some anti depressants!

PT had other options intead AA, for example the striker we just realesed for free that cost us £3million (i.e Trev), he had Collymore but couldn't handel him, he then brought/Loaned Paulo Manchini who scored a an almighty 0 goals! Not to mention the fact he had Scowy, who was totaly unfit for the duration of his time under PT. Add to that Dean Sturridge and we had some youth coming through I hardly think its the same thing now is it?

Who's he then!?

I think we all know he meant Roberto Mancini.

Personally I think Taylor is a good low league manager and overall a good coach as his England Under 21s proves. But he doesnt have the quota to be good enough for higher divisions. His signings this season at Hull have been people who have impressed lower divisions and when they get to a high division, they wont be good enough.

Brilliant Step, a team that would've won the league and the FA Cup? I love it.

Although there was a time, especially when O'Neil azlmost landed Gudjonsson (the Chelsea one).... Imagine how that might have changed things?!

I hate what happened too mate, truly. But he's doing a job now and the FA are satisfied with what he does with the U21's...

Prior to PT tooking over we had finished in the top ten in the premiurship for four consecutive seasons. Only four other teams had done than
Manure
Arses
Chealse
Liverpool
and little old leicester. That was one hell of an achievment

During MON's last season we feared nobody and beat most, no teams wanted to play us. (The Grinders, wehat an excelent name that was)

The we got Collymore, With stan I have no doubt that we had a team to that could beat anyone. We just needed a manager that appreciated the stans ability and was willing to work hard to keep stan in line. If PT had any brains he would have emplyed an anterage of bouncers and psyciatrists for stan. he was worth it.
MON knew what stan was worth and he would have got the best out of him. PT did not have an effing clue so he sacked stan. Thats a man that knows football talent when he sees it

Also PT did have the option to bring in Gudjonsson for 4.5 million, but he bought a second division donkey for 5.5 million, again, excelent bit of managment that was. He certainly knows how to pick them.

During PT first season we went eleven games without loosing a game. It was easy and we where top of the premiur and if MON had stayed I have not doubt, none at all, not even a little bit. That we would have won the premier and the FA cup and if you think differenty its probably because you where to young. MON learned from Cloughy and MON was going to repeat what Cloughy did. MON. knew it. read his book

As for PT managing the under 21's, He could do that before he came here and did a good job of managing the under 21's. That because selecting the best under 21's is easy, compared to managing a team with limited resources.
PT is a wanker and allways will be.

PS: Lennon was good, but he wanted out as soon as MON left and he played shite that season.
We did not start lossing until the 12th game when Flowers went of injured and PT started to play Rocye in goal and the rest is History.

The only thing PT was good at was blaming good players for AA inabilty to score. Effing Wanker. I hate him so much that, if hull come up I am going to sit behind him and abuse him all match.

Do I need therapy

I bet when Gudjonsson retires he's going to spend the rest of his days regretting he didn't join us.

City fans are the ones with regret here. Gudjonsson's had a good career at Chelski and he could have had 3 or 4 good years here and instead we got Akimbadbuy. :-( :-( :? :? :smt013 :smt005 :smt005 :smt021 :smt021 :smt067 :smt067 :smt067 :smt068 :smt068 :smt068 :smt071 :smt071 :smt071 :smt070 :smt070 :smt070 :smt097 :smt097 :smt084 :smt084 :smt084 :smt075 :smt075 :smt075

That was a great post Step - so true about Leicester back then, wipes a tear from eye....

Question is, looking back for a second, who do we think would have been the right man to follow O'Neil?

Just to add to the agony of Step's full list of PT failings, it could have been oh so much different.

In the summer before the relegation season the F.A approached the L.C.F.C board about P.T coaching the U21's. Elsom, for some reason, wanted to keep him and asked what it would take to make him stay?
P.T told him Penis W*se and Elsom pulled out all the stops to get him, we all know how that turned out.

P.T got rid of Collymore because Trev floored him at half time in a reserve match?????????? Colly had only told him he was a lazy, useless (rasist comment omitted) w*nker. Think P.T might have got that the wrong way round eh!!!!

P.T will never be welcomed back by me, other managers have left and as time goes by you mellow about there leaving, not P.T, he was given the best chance to succeed that no other lcfc manager had EVER had, it was handed to him on a plate and he managed not only to wreck it all, but actually send it backwards in one and a half seasons.

Stans attitude stunk when pt was around-he started to demand big money and when he got in that fight with benjy that was the final straw. PT is still a wanker though don't get me wrong

Stan was paid week by week and I think we would all be pizzed off if every one around you was on 20k plus and you was only getting 5k.

PS: It was benjamin who hit stan. Yet, stan got the sack. Stan hit nobody.
