£2million would be a bargain, but i don't think we're favorites to sign him.

Again, yes please. Maybe he's why we're letting Dyer go.

If some of these rumours/potential deals come off then we should have a very strong team next season!

Are we letting Dyer go? All I have heard/read is that Sheff Wed are interested in him.

I know he has a good left peg and a good set piece, and he did well for Cardiff in previous seasons but from what I saw of him last year he was rubbish. What I don't like is "Leicester's entry into the chase could push the price up to £2m"... that says it all about our current predicament doesn't it?

Not a bad predicament to be in really, I'd rather pay a little bit over the odds for quality players than go back a few years to when we were bringing in players like Andy Johnson and Josh Low... It still makes me shudder just thinking about it...

I would say that if we did sign Whittingham that it would pave the way to sell Andy King - I think Dyer would only fetch a few quid - whereas King would offset current spending and enable more to come.

Absolutely bonkers. You've been in the sun too long.....

Thanks for your concern.....however I said IF we were to sign Whittingham.......and that King WOULD offset.

No need to fret - it's all highy conditional - but I do think that the club will seek to a) improve the quality of the squad and b) will offset expenditure.

I'm not sure that expressing such views would indicate a touch of the sun...or your over-excitement.

Sven has said that our midfield last season wasn't strong enough to play his preferred 4-4-2.
You could read into that, that somebody has to make way for the players required to play 4-4-2, why not King?

Might sound crazy, or bonkers, but we are in the silly season.
Now I hear Blackpool fans are talking about an interest in Wellens.

So if Wellens goes, King goes, Hobbs has just about gone, none of the trainees bought, Dyers going, Vassells unhappy, Huddersfield want Howard.....
We'd better hope that Kasper is better than we thought as we'll be playing 7 a side next year:icon_roll

And how would that improve the squad? Surely improving and strengthening the squad would mean getting Whittingham whilst keeping our best players. Unless a stupid offer comes in, I don't see why we can not have them both.

What trainees? :102:

And how do you know Vassell is unhappy? Have I missed something?

Friggin heck, talk about over reaction!
Calm down, I was just highlighting some of the crap that has been spouted about certain Leicester players over the past month or so.
Who know's what the feck is going on.

Let's just shut up shop.

Woe woe woe, how the **** is my post an over reaction, I was just asking you a question. Sorry I bothered :icon_roll

Jebus, people are touchy at the moment, you cant even ask an innocent question without getting your bollocks chewed off.

I honestly don't think we will be playing 4-4-2 next season. I think the current system suits the group of players we have, plus an attacking full back like Peltier would arguably fit in more with a 4-3-3.
